GRASS CUTTING SESSION AT THE OLD MOAT GARDEN CENTRE

The Old Moat Garden Centre run by the Richmond Fellowship supports those with mental health needs whilst providing them with opportunities and enjoyment in a friendly and pleasant environment.   

The Garden Centre has expanded over time and their dog friendly cafe is very popular and all their produce is reasonably priced.  The site has a rich history going back centuries, including a tranquil walled garden and Grade 11 listed barn

Epsom Rotary have been supporting The Old Moat for quite some years and although we could not get a large team today, we did a great stint at mowing the lush green but wet grass in the walled garden area.  We spent the morning out in the sun in the pleasant environment with some visitors by way of members of the public.

Epsom Rotary usually spend a Saturday morning helping out at The Old Moat usually the first Saturday in the month and welcome any volunteers who wish to become involved.  We are always made very welcome and enjoy being there.
