To add further wonder to the sight of this remarkable car there was a chimpanzee drinking from a bottle strapped into the passenger front seat! The car’s audio system kept curious onlookers entertained with music from the 60’s and 70’s.
The Rolls Royce was behind one of 73 stalls at the penultimate Rotary Fair of 2022 on 4th September at which a sum of approximately £850 was raised. This sum will be used to support local good causes and international charities providing disaster relief.
In addition to this posh but quirky stall, other stalls were also selling some unusual items, such as a brightly painted torso mannikin, a union jack camping chair, two single camping beds (without mattresses), a fireplace complete with marble surround, and a car roof luggage box.
More familiarly, there were also stalls selling more traditional items such as clothes, children’s toys, crockery, cooking utensils, collectibles, tools, jigsaws, embroidery, lamp shades and electrical tools.
more How disappointing that we weren’t able to finish the year on a high note. Our Fair scheduled for Sunday 2nd October had to be cancelled due to the forecast of heavy/persistent rain. The forecast was, for once, correct.
