Cambodia School Fundraiser
Team West Fife participation in the 2022 Edinburgh Kiltwalk raised £8190
Past Presidents Alex, Dave and Douglas formed the Rotary Club of West Fife team for the Kiltwalk in Edinburgh on Sunday 18th September 2022 from Granton to Murrayfield. Their objective was to raise funds for Cambodian village school kids. We would like to thank everyone who sponsored them.
RCWF has helped 13 villages in Cambodia to access internet and computers. This jump starts English learning (and a chance of a life time job ) ….. after 2 years with no schooling due to Covid the schools need support.
The sponsorship pledged for the cause attracted a top up from Sir Tom Hunter's Foundation that added an extra 50% the funds raised. So the £5460 sponsorship became £8190 after a £2730 top up from the Hunter Foundation.
All the Kiltwalk Heroes and donors have shown incredible Kiltwalk Kindness and raised a whopping £1.4 million plus £700,000 from The Hunter Foundation: a grand total of £2.1 million for 500 Charities including yours.Well done to Alex, Dave and Douglas and a huge thank you to the Hunter Foundation for their fantastic support.
