Don’t Miss the Prestwick Rotary Club Exhibition of Prestwick Photographs

Prestwick Rotarians have followed up on the popular photo exhibition success of last year, and have sourced over 60 further photographs of Prestwick, and its people for display. Many of these photographs have been in shops and business premises since Monday 5 Sept, and will remain displayed until 19 Sept. We are grateful to all who have agreed to exhibit photographs in the windows of their premises, and trust that folk looking at them will find plenty to talk about.

We intend to bring this collection of photographs together at one venue from 21-24 Sept. At the time of writing, we do not yet have a confirmed location, but are hopeful of securing premises on the Main Street in Prestwick. Last year we used the canopy of the Broadway Cinema as an outside display space. We have some great Prestwick photographs, including this one of children, helping with farm work during the war years. Do you know anybody in this picture?

Look out for our photographic exhibition towards the end of this month. We will be delighted to hear your personal experiences of Prestwick, and its people from times past. Meantime, enjoy the window displays in the local shops, and business premises.
