EPSOM & EWELL VETERANS COMMUNITY HUB

Organised by Surrey County County Council, more particularly by Tracey Morris and in connection with RBL Epsom & Ewell, Epsom Rotary have been involved for some time in assisting with the Hub held on the first Tuesday of the month between the hours of 10.30am and 12.30pm held at The Army Reserve Centre, Ewell, KT17 2BG.

The Hub provides much needed companionship, comradeship for many veterans and ex-service men and woman whilst providing them with a place to meet, learn new skills, enjoys talks and are supplied with endless refreshments and snacks.  

On 02 August the Hub was visited by a representative from the National Trading Standards who provided a talk about scams, how to avoid them and what can be done in the event of a scam occurring.  In the past there have been visitors from Combat Stress, animal therapies and many more.

Alongside the Hub there are also Models for Heroes and activities such a Archery held a different venues and outings throughout the year.    

Epsom Rotary are getting more involved in the additional activities and always welcome volunteers.
