Perry's Challenge.
Bexhill-On-Sea Rotary Club President Perry Puddefoot has set himself a fantastic challenge for his year as President to walk 1000+ miles during his Presidential year to raise money for local charities.
He has completed many miles over the last few years but never set himself a minimum amount to complete.
To help raise the money he is looking for sponsorship. This can be done by the mile, a sum for the total amount or at significant stages such as every 250 miles.
Once a month he will be covering some of the mileage walking along Bexhill Seafront and would welcome your company.
This Open Event.
The small but select band met at the far end of South Cliff at 09.30am and got underway from the bottom of the slope. They headed East along the Promenade to Glyne Gap then back via Hastings Road and the Old Town, walking just over six miles.
PLEASE JOIN PERRY ON 24TH SEPTEMBER.
Rotarians together with Partners and Friends can join for the whole distance or part of, whatever they are going to challenge themselves.
Please keep a record of the mileage you cover on walks so we can calculate the total distance travelled and plan a route for ‘The Long Road’ trail!Donations can be made to:
