Prestwick Rotarians were treated to a 'Sci -Fi' book journey, courtesy of Duncan Lunan, a prolific author and book reviewer on the subject. Duncan was born in Troon, and has been interested in Science Fiction from a very early age. He started writing professionally in the 1960's, with 'Derelict' published in 1967. In total, he has written ten books, and contributed to 42 others and many, many articles.

He is most proud of his time travel stories involving land, sea, air and earth. His favourite story - Arthur C Clarke - Childhood's End - good choice ! Rotarian Debby Broughton-Hay gave Duncan a well-deserved vote of thanks for an interesting 'time-travel' journey into the world of Sci-Fi writing and publishing.
Duncan is pictured left with Rotarian Richie Cameron. He can be contacted on www.duncanlunan.com
