The History of St Nicholas Golf Club

This was supported by many photographs and expanded to include interesting points about Prestwick for example, - how many street names have golf origins? - and the early history of the Open Golf Championship. The fact that the Rotary Club now meets at St Nicholas Golf Clubhouse meant the talk held unique interest to those attending.

Rotarian Lindsay Smith, in giving a vote of thanks mentioned David and Murray should do a follow up talk as clearly there was much of interest still available.
