Toast to the Lassies
Lorraine treated members to a 'toast to the lassies,' complete with cheeky jokes, and anecdotes in the true Burns Supper tradition.
Prestwick Rotarian Lorraine McEvoy treated members to a slightly out of season, 'toast to the lassies,' complete with cheeky joke, and anecdotes in the true Burns Supper tradition. Lorraine's jokes are punchy, and not for the faint-hearted. Her 'can do' attitude is very refreshing, as is her sense of fun, in not taking herself too seriously.
Rotarian Jim Nicoll offered a hearty vote of thanks. These pictures show Lorraine, in tartan, in full flow, and with President Stephen Cooper, at the end of her talk. We will be taking the opportunity in future to offer more speaking slots to Rotary members. It is a great way of getting us to know one another better.
