Charity Online Auction

We would like to thank everyone who took part in our Online Auction this year we raised £6066.31. 

 This will help our Rotary Club to continue to support local and International charities and good causes.  This year a large donation will be going to Ukraine through Rotary International's Disaster Response Fund https://on.rotary.org/3KiyhFt

This was our second  online auction, last year we raised £5368.43 allowing the club to make donations to a number of local, national and international charities including

- Dalkeith Thistle’s Pan Disability Football Team

- Asthma UK

- Storehouse (A Food Bank in Dalkeith)

- Aquabox – a charity which provides safe drinking water, through the use of filtration units, and humanitarian aid to crisis zones around the world

- Lend with Care - which makes interest free loans to people determined to work themselves out of poverty . we have made 45 loans and supported over 910 people

- Reforesting Scotland

- RNLI

- Prostate Cancer

- Woodburn Youth Project

- End Polio Now - where we purchased purple crocus corns and donated them to the Dalkeith Guerilla Gardeners to plant in the Dalkeith Town Centre

- Sponsored an award with Midlothian Volunteering

- Donated 20 Christmas Art Packs to Dalkeith Art Club
