Lakeside YMCA

The speaker at the meeting of Kendal Rotary on 7th March was Ryan Simpson form Lakeside YMCA.

He gave a presentation describing the new £3 million building on the site recently finished, with a capacity of 300 beds.

The ethos of this YMCA camp is ‘to inspire young people to grow in Body, Mind and Spirit’.

The Covid pandemic has had an enormous impact but hopefully they are on the road to recovery.
