The event was carried out very successfuly with 200 Rotarians and Friends in the presence of The Mayor of Stafford Rtn Phillip Leason and his wife, plus the District Governor of Rotary District 1210 Rtn Robyn Davies and Rtn Trevor Davies.
The meal will be prepared by 248 Gurkha Signals Squadron based in Stafford, and will include a curry main course, Vegetarian and Non Curry options available followed by a choice of sweets. BYO wines/beers - Glasses and water will be provided.

This event will celebrate the local links with Ghurkha Signals Squadrons based in Stafford, and include a presentation on the Gurkha Soldiers and their 200 years of service to the British Army. This is the third such event staged by the Rotary Clubs of Stafford, Stafford Knot, Stafford Castle and Eccleshall Mercia with 248 Squadron support.
The use of the excellent facilities of the Sports Hall at Stafford Grammar School by kind permission of the Headmaster is greatly appreciated.
