Urgent Appeal to help Refugees from War in Ukraine - March 2022

The four Rotary Clubs in the Isle of Man have come together in this joint appeal to assist people who have been displaced by the conflict in Ukraine.

Please participate and no donation is too small

Rotary is well known for its humanitarian work and has helped millions of people worldwide.

Four Rotary clubs on the Island will work on the appeal. They include Rushen and Western Mann, Onchan, Douglas, and Ramsey.

In a statement, Nigel Dobson Secretary of Rotary Club of Onchan said:

"Over the last few days over a million people have been displaced by the war in Ukraine. To put that into perspective, that is the equivalent of twelve times the entire population of the Isle of Man. And it is only going to get worse."

Donations will go towards work with organisations such as ShelterBox, which provides temporary accommodation, and Aquabox which supplies clean water.
