Special General Meeting - 17/01/22

Irvine Seagate Rotary had a zoom business meeting on Monday.  It was confirmed that the main office bearers for the coming year would be President Hugh Hutchison, Secretary Andy Slater, and Treasurer Billy Dickson. 

Meetings will continue to be by Zoom for the next few weeks, and on 7 February, in place of the traditional Burns Night, there will be a virtual McGonagall Supper organised by Ian Dickson.  The Christmas trees at the Portal have been stored away for next winter when it is hoped that things will be more normal.  Thanks are due to all who helped, and to main sponsor Ardagh Glass. 

It was agreed that in light of the continuing uncertainty about the pandemic and its affect on travel, Irvine’s proposed visit to their twin club in Orleans in the Spring will not take place this year.
