Local author Sally Knight is Bill Shaw's speaker today delivering a talk - 'My Grandma Was a Pilot' - about the exciting story of pioneering aviator Phyl Lewin.
As featured on BBC Radio Shropshire, Sally will talk about her book exploring the extraordinary life of her grandmother after which, there will be the opportunity to ask questions and also purchase a copy of Sally’s book.
A fascinating talk for anyone with an interest in 1930’s history or aviation!
