Beach Clean 2021

Many thanks to all those who turned up to support our recent Prestwick beach clean on 23 October. We cleared rubbish from the Bell Rock, at the south end of the beach, to The Pow Burn, north towards Troon. Particular thanks to the youngsters who got involved , including cubs and scouts. The beach was much cleaner than it has been in previous years, so hopefully the message is getting across that plastics and rubbish have no place on our lovely Ayrshire beaches. The picture shows volunteers eager to get going, including some Rotarians from Kilmarnock Rotary Club.
