Prestwick Rotarians are Bug Friendly

A bug corridor called 'Nectar Network' is planned from Irvine to Girvan. As part of this initiative, Prestwick Rotarians are working with various agencies at Prestwick Station to create a wildflower meadow there. Lorraine McEvoy is the main driving force within Prestwick Rotary Club, seen here on the right of the picture with a bunch of volunteers preparing the ground. Lots of agencies are involved including Scottish Wildlife Trust, Nectar Network, Scot Rail, SA Rangers and South Ayrshire Council. This is very much in keeping with Rotary's national theme this year of helping the environment.
