Thanks to anyone who donated coats to the collection by Rotary West of Scotland. 300 were collected in East Dunbartonshire and have been/are locally distributed by EDC and local charities to those that need them.

What is being sought are thick warm winter coats. Each garment is sorted into men, women or children's coats. They are inspected to ensure they are clean and in a good condition to be given away.Ask yourself Wrap Up's motto of “Is this coat good enough for you to wear” ? If yes then its what is being looked for and ensures that only good quality coats are distributed to the charitable organisations.
In East Dunbartonshire there is a particular need for children's coats.
Dobbie's Garden Centre Milngavie is the closest collection point in this area. There are further collection points in Kirkintillock with full details on the website (link above).
The collection runs for one month and started mid October.
