Poole Hospital children’s unit

We are proud to have been a major benefactor of the hospital’s children’s unit over the past decade, most recently with the purchase of a bladder scanner (see the STOP PRESS feature on our Home Page).

Seven years ago we made a substantial grant towards the cost of establishing Gully's Place, the palliative care haven at the hospital for children and their families.

Since then we have met the cost of making the Day Unit more welcoming by adorning walls, pillars and doors with decorative artwork, have purchased three new cots for babies, and latterly supplied a state of the art bladder scanner.

In addition we keep the hospital supplied with special achievement certificates to present to children discharged after treatment (see photo).
