Steve Herron from the Isle of Man Air Ambulance received the charitable donation of £1000 from Club member Jeremy Bridle and Club President Ashton Lewis.
This little known service plays a vital part in the islands health service. Each year flying hundreds of patients off island to UK hospitals for urgent treatment. Although funded Manx Care, charitable donations are used to buy additional equipment and pay for training. Club member Mark Gilson helped to demonstrate a special mattress purchased using charitable donations.
