On Saturday, 18th September one of Llandudno Rotary’s longstanding Members, Dr. Ashok Harshey, completed a gruelling 22 mile walk from Bangor Pier to Llandudno Pier
Starting at 8 am with a couple of friends Ashok left Bangor Pier at 8 am, picked up some more friends around mid-day at Llanfairfechan and arrived at Llandudno Pier at 5pm
The walk was in aid of two charities close to Ashok’s heart, namely St David’s Hospice, Llandudno and Sea Point Rotary Ilitha Pre-school project, Cape Town, South Africa. Both are charities that Llandudno has been pleased to support in various ways in recent years.
Each charity has been severely affected financially by the Covid pandemic and desperately needs funds to survive
Sponsorship to date stands at £780 – if you would like to help Ashok reach his £1,000 target you can donate here tinyurl.com/AshokWebpage by credit card or PayPal
You can also donate by text by texting ASHOK 5 to 70085 – calls cost £5 plus your standard network rate
