The Rotary Club of Prestwick photographic project around Prestwick is ready to hit the streets. From 8 Sep to 21 Sep look out for about 50 photographs of old Prestwick displayed in shop windows and other premises throughout the town.

One such example is shown here - The Post Office, with staff eager to deliver a rare commodity these days - hand written letters! We are running a competition for children to count the number of horses in all the displayed pictures. A prize of £30 is offered for the first correct entry to be drawn out of a hat.

After the street display exhibition, we will move the pictures to the entrance of the old Broadway Cinema from 22 September for 4 days. This will be a great reminder to all of the glories of Prestwick past. Framed prints will be available at only £20 with all profits going to local charities.
