2021 08 28 MIDHURST STREET PARTY
The Council organised a fantastic street party for Midhurst. Hazel arranged for Rotarians to man two stalls of games for children. She says "What a lovely, bustling, happy afternoon yesterday! Midhurst was clearly happy to be open and our stalls were constantly busy for all the three hours. Lots of support and teamwork from lots of you, putting up and taking down the gazebos and running the stalls but a special thanks to Tim who worked all afternoon with his Nerf guns!!!"
The games were aimed at the children but it was interesting to hear Dads encouraging their children to have a go with the Nerf Guns!
At the card table lots of Mums whispered 'make sure he/she doesn't win a lollipop' - when they didn't get one tears often followed so more tickets were bought without restriction!
A fun event.
