Rob Taylor presented with PHF
One of last acts of Tony Quinn’s year as President of the Rotary Chelwood Bridge, was to make the presentation of a second Paul Harris award to fellow member Rob Taylor of Stanton Drew. The award recognises the contributions made by members to the club and to their communities. It is among the highest awards made by Rotary.
Over the years Rob’s contribution has been significant in leading many events which have enabled us to raise funds to support people both locally and overseas. In particular in the last 12 months, in difficult conditions, Rob has enabled the raising of over £10,000 for local charities. He has been innovative in his approach and a great deal of the activity has, of necessity been online.
Rob was presented with his award at the first face-to-face meeting of the new Rotary year at Farrington Park golf club to the full acclaim of fellow members.
