Frugal lunch meeting at Ivan and Cathy Jones's home

We were warmly welcomed to the home of Rotary members Ivan and Cathy Jones for a frugal lunch meeting today.

With our Club a frugal meal means that we pay £10 per head ( the price would we pay for a normal lunch ) plus pay for wine and soft drinks which, along with a raffle, all go towards our charitable efforts in the communities we serve. 

Today Ivan and Cathy served up a tasty lunch of ham, jacket potatoes with cheese or baked beans topping, assorted salads and finishing off with crumble and cheese for those who prefer it. Not really frugal though!

Many thanks to the hosts and to the generosity of those members and guests attending and we raised £186 for our charity account. Looking forward to our next frugal in November....
