Pictures of Old Prestwick

Catherine McQueen, aged 95, responded to our appeal to identify ladies walking Prestwick promenade in the early 1950's. We made up a print of the photo, and presented it to Catherine at her home in Prestwick, where she has been a resident since the early 1970's.

Finding old photographs of Prestwick, and district, is the backbone of our photography project, which will involve displaying pictures throughout the town later this year. Catherine is welcoming and good company. She retains a sharp mind and memory, and is a remarkable lady.
