St John’s Academy ‘Little Lending Library’

The library was donated by Abbey Spun Cast Limited, and books are supplied by Wednesfield Rotary Club in conjunction with Rotary’s “Books4home” project. This means that the children enjoy choosing a book, taking it home to keep or exchanging it for another book of their choice once read. 

Children’s Author Natalie Pritchard together with Deputy Head Mrs Jenny Cotterill officially opened the library during World Book week. 

Wednesfield Rotary Club are looking to expand this type of project to other schools in the Wednesfield area as they firmly believe all children should have access to books and own a book of their own.
