Rotary Helping Ty Gobaith Childrens’ Hospice
COVID has thwarted fundraising for much of the past year, but Llandudno Rotary has taken to the streets again and eight Rotarians, thinly disguised as Easter Bunnies stepped into action to relieve the good people of Llandudno of some of their cash
Despite glorious weather, COVID impacted adversely on the collection. Reduced
footfall, plus an increasing number of people not carrying coinage with them currently, led to a collection of £124.62. In the light of previous years' experience, this is less than we had hoped for, but we thank all those who gave so generously. Llandudno Rotary Club itself has resolved to match the generosity of those who gave and raise the donation to £250
Beverley Bradley,Conwy Fundraiser for Ty Gobaith responded with
“Thank you for organising this collection. Our children and families need support more than ever and it is because of the support of our communities that we are able to keep providing vital care for those who need us “
The Club looks forward to a talk from Beverley on the important work that Ty Gobaith does, and Members look forward, post-COVID, to a visit to the Hospice, which nestles in the beautiful Conwy Valley
