Dear President and Members
Donation of Blood Pressure Monitors
On behalf of my clinical colleagues treating patients with blood pressure problems, I wish to sincerely thank you and the members of the Rotary Club of Dundee for your most generous donation of blood pressure monitors and cuffs to be distributed as gifts to patients in need by healthcare professionals in the cardiovascular risk and the stroke/stroke liaison services in Dundee.
As you know, these monitors will help people with hypertension to record their BP levels in their own home and help them to understand potential changes in blood pressure, which could have serious and life-threatening consequences. The monitors also offer reassurance to patients with blood pressure issues and help prevent them having to make as many visits to GP practices or healthcare premises, particularly during these unprecedented times.
Your combined efforts on this project along with the Guildry Incorporation of Dundee are truly appreciated, as is your support for our healthcare work here in Dundee. It has been an absolute pleasure to collaborate with you and your members on this project. We wish you every success as the Rotary Club of Dundee celebrates its centenary.
Yours sincerely
