Rotarians and guests were certainly challenged by this quiz. I for one was disgusted that I couldn’t identify more!

In the first set of ten we were shown an Avocet which is the emblem of the RSPB. Peter went on to  ‘Warblers’, ‘Raptors’,  ‘Ducks’, ‘Waders’ and then ten ‘Oddities’.  To establish the winners Nigel started at the top (luckily for me) – first came Annie & Paul (Peter’s daughter and husband who had obviously taken in the knowledge imparted by Dad), then Ken, a friend of Steve & Hazel, followed by Geoff and Lynne Rogers (friends of John/Chris Barrett).

Alan Austen thanked both Peter and Nigel for all their hard work putting together such an interesting and fun evening.
