GEOFF PAYNE'S RESPONSE RE POSITIVITY
Bryony Gordon in the Saturday Telegraph asked readers for ways of keeping their positivity. On 13 Feb her article included a response from Geoff Payne.
"I find doing something to help others in my local community is a tremendous mood booster. I am a member of the Rotary Club of Midhurst and Petworth. We help at the local GP surgery as people arrive for their Covid vaccines. We assist in the car park, do temperature checks, ensure nobody has been in contact with Covid sufferers recently and that they are exhibiting no signs of the virus. Help is also required inside the surgery to ensure safe distancing and cleansing of seats. Such activities give me a sense of wellbeing and pride, and by helping others our own issues are put into perspective durng these difficult times".
