After a short Business Meeting Adrian drew the 200 Club Draw for January.

President Rangesh showed a film as an alternative to a speaker.

Ocean Witness Season 2 Episode 1 Sanctuaries  made by Greenpeace about protecting the Oceans and information about Puffins

John Fitch made several points:

- look at information about Grand Banks in Labrador  - Canadians sadly over fished in this area with bottom trawling so disturbing the sea bed and the ambience that this area has never recovered.

- When the Europeans arrived in North American the millions of bison were shot indiscriminately - down to 413 bison but today there are some 100,000 owned privately and 20,000 in National Parks.

 - Blue whale – ending of whaling to help recovery.

- If hunters work in balanced way we can have success.

Rangesh showed a short clip to show how technology has changed – he showed a 3D image in China of a lion roaring and seemingly jumping in to a crowd!
