Some Good News from Rotary!

In a year that has been a bit short of good news, Llandudno Rotary is delighted to announce that it has made the first round of awards from the Community Chest

Llandudno Rotary Community Chest was established this year as a way of getting funds to small local Groups for whom a few hundred pounds might make a HUGE difference

In September we invited local Groups to bid by 30th November and received eight applications, all from worthy local enterprises trying to make life a little better in LL30 or LL31 areas (Llandudno, Deganwy and Llandudno Junction)

We’re pleased to announce the following awards:-

TV Conwy                                 £200

Penrhyn Bay FC                       £200

Llandudno FC                           £200

Llandudno Junction Jnr. FC   £200

Ormeside Scout Group           £100

Llandudno Cricket Club          £100

Our thanks to all those who applied, including the two unsuccessful applicants, who we are happy to consider again on our second round, currently scheduled with a closing date of 31st May 2021

We’d like to be more generous next time but we can only give what we have – if you would like to donate text LLANDUDNO 5 to 70085 and help us to help others even more (calls cost £5 plus your provider’s text cost)
