Rotary in Llandudno this Christmas

Llandudno Rotary had hoped to overcome COVID restrictions and hold the traditional Snowman Appeal. We managed one day before new, stringent Tier 4 restrictions defeated us

OVERTAKEN BY EVENTS, BUT HERE'S WHAT WE HAD PLANNED TO DO

For many many years the inhabitants, shoppers, visitors and workpeople of Llandudno have contributed generously to the Llandudno Rotary Snowman Appeal

Llandudno Rotarians, cunningly disguised as snowmen,  have sought your cash to enable them to pass on your generosity to local charities. In the last year alone this generosity has enabled donations to be made to local organisations as varied as Hope Restored, St David’s Hospice, Air Ambulance, Llandudno Youth Music Theatre and others, with more  payments shortly to be made from our (new for this year) Community Trust

This year, we have to be very aware of all  COVID restrictions, but will be in Mostyn Street to receive your donations on Saturday 19th December and from Monday 21st to Wednesday 23rd December. Do give us a socially distanced wave and maybe toss any change that you have into our (also socially distant) large collection bin

If you feel you could miss us, or if you are not getting out much at the moment, you can donate by text (round pounds only) by texting the amount you wish to give after the word LLANDUDNO – e.g. Text LLANDUDNO 3 to 70085 and you are donating £3. You will receive an immediate text acknowledgment of your kind donation

Thanks for any support you are able to give

Blood Bikes - Wales

back Blood Bikes Wales is the eye-catching name for a group of dedicated volunteers who come together as a registered charity to transport blood and other urgently needed medical material from one NHS base in Wales to another
