Rotary donates a further £1000 to Ugandan Eye Clinic Project - Oct 2020

The Club has donated £1000 to the charity ReachBwindi to continue support for the Sight4Bwindi eye clinic project in South West Uganda.

The hospital is facing challenging times due to COVID., however the eye clinic has continued to operate thanks to its dedicated staff. 

Barnabus, from the eye clinic on hearing that the Club had donated a further £1000 said

"Thanks for sharing the good news, we are always looking forward to how we can grow this clinic and service to meet the sight needs of this community. This donation definitely brings us closer to our vision."

Donation from the Club (which includes a £500 Rotary District Foundation Grant from our Rotary District in the North West of England) will help with the ongoing work to develop the clinics work.
