Bexhill Rotary Help the Foodbank

Collections and Deliveries.




The Community Service Committee, chaired by Graham Forster, has got the Rotary Year off to a flying start by assisting the Bexhill Mayor with the weekly collection of donations for the Bexhill Foodbank. Each Tuesday four Rotarians in two vehicles collect from between 20 and 30 houses and shops dotted around the town. People are very generous and many give regularly to help those in need. It is anticipated that the demand will increase in the coming weeks as the government and local authority food supplies cease so the club is geared up to continue this vital service to the community for the foreseeable future.
