A Mask A Day Keeps The Virus At Bay

Kathy Herlock (President-Elect of The Rotary Club of Billericay Town) informed us and other Rotary Clubs that her Club has a fundraising venture to manufacture Covid-19 Face Coverings.

These reusable coverings are designed with a pocket to add a filter if you so wish.  W.H.O. say you can add a fresh paper towel or use a coffee filter between the mask layers each time that you wear a mask, for added filtration.

Kathy reports, when she told other Rotary Clubs in the Area about the venture, “I wanted a design which featured the Rotary Roundel, Rotary and our Billericay clubs, and consulted with the District Public Image Chairman to finalise the design.  I then found a local company willing to incorporate this design and print cloth with the design included.”

The material was ordered only a couple of weeks ago but has already been received and the first orders have arrived and already been delivered.

Rotary Club of Billericay has responded to this fundraising venture by ordering 20 of the Face Coverings.
