Prestwick resident Katie McClure

In her second year of her Erasmus Mundus Master Degree in Archaeological Materials Science.

Prestwick Rotary Club members are supporting Prestwick resident Katie McClure in the second year of her Erasmus Mundus Master Degree in Archaeological Materials Science.

Katie will receive a further £200 this year, in support for study and traveling, matched by a similar amount from Rotary Foundation. Katie has sent us a detailed report on her busy activities, involving course work, laboratory and field work, including visiting sites of archaeological interest throughout Italy.

Lectures and exams will continue until mid February 2020. Her final semester will be based in the University of Sapienza in Rome, until October 2020.

Katie McClure is very grateful for the financial support she has had from Prestwick Rotary Club, which has helped her to participate in an exciting scientific field, which she is passionate about. Prestwick Rotarians wish Katie the very best with her continuing studies.
