Following a muted victory over Welshpool RC in the First Round our team advances to take on Oswestry Borderland RC away at The Sweeney Hall.

Meal first then quiz at about 8:15pm.

Anyone who wants to support and eat first should book directly with the Sweeney - spectators and supporters always welcome!

Asked how the quiz had gone, team captain David Gordon replied:

"The only thing we won was the toss."

Apparently they started off badly.

"We chose to be team A which was the wrong call." David said, "We live to fight another day - but not this year! Never mind, it’s only a quiz."

So there we'll leave it . . .
