Edith and Santa at Prestwick Rotarians stall
Prestwick Rotarians and friends enjoy a great 'lighting-up' in Prestwick Town.
What a fabulous 'lighting-up' it was in Prestwick this year ! The atmosphere was fantastic, with loads of families with children, out enjoying the fun. Prestwick Rotarians played their part brilliantly, with a superb Santa's Grotto, and a well-stocked, very-popular, bottle stall. All monies raised at this 'lighting-up', will go to local deserving charities. Santa's Grotto raised £326 from voluntary donations, and the bottle stall raised just over £420.
Many thanks to Santa for finding time to visit us, and for doing such a great job on the day. Many thanks also to all the Rotarians, and friends, who helped out, but most of all - many, many thanks to the generous people of Prestwick, and the surrounding districts, who gave us support and donations. Together, we can help our communities, by improving the lives of individuals, and groups, in need.
