Saturday October 26th was the day that England met, and thrashed, New Zealand in the Rugby World Cup. It was also the day that vast areas of the Marches were being submerged under feet of flood water. Yet a surprisingly large number of people came to visit the Presteigne Community Fair. It was a great opportunity for visitors and other voluntary organisations to network and meet Rotary and see what we do in their community. Thank you to Paul for manning the stall all day, especially when he nearly had to stop overnight at the Jones's as the water rapidly rose on the A49!
back We are keen to support local community based charities in whatever way we can.
