Llandudno Rotary launches Sunday lunch initiative
Llandudno Rotary, with help from ‘Friends of Rotary’ launches a new initiative at the end of this month
To complement the many facilities on offer at Llandudno’s Trinity Centre, the Rotary Club is trialling a monthly Sunday lunch club for people who live on their own
Rotary volunteers and friends will prepare, cook and serve a two-course Sunday lunch for £6 – the price includes a raffle ticket and a couple of hours of companionship
The attached panel shows the details
Organiser Ian Trevette told us
“ We hope anyone living in their own in Llandudno will give this a try – all you need to do is to phone in to book your place and to say whether you want someone to chauffeur you to and from the Trinity Centre. If the lunch is successful, we want to turn this into a regular event.
There’s a lot to do – if there’s any member of the public who can help with any of driving, serving, cooking or just generally helping out, we’d love to hear from you”
