District Governor Jimmy Johnston MBE visited Prestwick Rotary Club as part of a tour of all Rotary Clubs in District 1230.
He talked about the Rotary International Theme for 2019-20, which is 'Rotary Connects the World'. A banner on this theme was then presented to Prestwick President Adnan Soojeri.We should all become 'POA's [people of action] because together people can create change, increase impact, expand reach, and increase our ability to react.
A number of ways of increasing membership was mentioned, and he praised Prestwick Rotary Club members on their wide-range of activities within the local community.
Rotarian Ajit Singh Uppal gave Jimmy an appreciative vote of thanks.
