Prestwick Prom 2019
Prestwick Rotarians had a great time at The Prestwick Prom. Families loved the games on offer which included archery, a coconut shy and a shuffleboard, plus 'guess the weight of the crocodile'. Many thanks go to those Prestwick residents and others who supported us, by taking part in these activities. We raised over £300 for local charities, whilst enjoying a wonderful day, full of humour and good banter.
Our weekly meetings at the Parkstone Hotel are enjoyable and informative, with a range of speakers and topics. Speakers are restricted to about 20 mins, and this allows additional time for debate and questions. The talks are informal and relaxed.
Recent talk topics have included art therapy, songs with a guitar, life as a rural GP, cartoons, and football refereeing. If any local Prestwick residents have a hobby or topic which they think will be of interest to us, please get in touch with our secretary Bill Leslie on moyra.billy@gmail.com.
We would be delighted to treat you to a meal, and have you as our guest for a Thursday evening. Find out more about us on Facebook.
