A busy week for Hatfield's new President
Here is a quick review of my first week at Hatfield Rotary, showing some of the local projects we support…
Wed - President John Hopley presents Robert Addleman with the Presidential regalia
Saturday - the celebration preview of new Night Shelter in Hatfield.
The wonderful Resolve staff who get a huge percentage of homeless people off the streets
and help them turn their lives round (last year they succeeded with 16 out of 19 people, an amazing result).
They have great patience and skill.
Tuesday - John Hopley and I presented the Hatfield Rotary shield to the winner of the Onslow St Audrey’s best achiever. Adrianna Sosabowska contributed hugely to the school’s production of “School of Rock”
creating a whole range of designs for the sets and costumes, many of which she made herself.
Friday - presenting the Young Photographer awards at Mount Grace School in Potters Bar
Sophie L was the joint winner for the area of Hatfield, Brookmans Park, Potters Bar and Welwyn Garden City.
All the Youth competitions for our area are run by a cooperative group of these four local Rotary clubs.
Left to right men - Jake T won the second prize, Reece T won a commended certificate and Matthew S won a highly commended certificate.
