Fund Raising

The purpose of the Fund Raising Committee is to identify and organise local events, both to be seen in the local community, and raise the necessary funds required to support our chosen charities and our community service projects

Raising money through fund raising activities is core to the work of the Rotary organisation in supporting local, national, and international charities.  We also recognise the need to raise funds to support activities, especially activities for young people, in the local community.   The purpose of the Fund Raising Committee is to identify and organise local events, both to be seen in the local community, and raise the necessary funds required.  The last year (2021) has been an especially difficult year with all our planned events being cancelled due to the Covid pandemic.  Gradually, we are emerging from this difficult year, and once again, we are starting to look at events that we may be able to hold over the coming months.
