End of another year

Hello everyone,

First can I say thank you to you all for the work you have put in to supporting the young people in our area.    It is now the end of the school year, almost matches the Rotary year.    Indeed our newly enchained President Alex’s first public duty was to attend and present the Rotary awards at the Academy prize-giving last Thursday.

Of course during the summer break four students will earn their RYLA certificates at Ardeonaig and hopefully enjoy the experience.   Two other students will take part in the District golf competition.

Tony our tame PR man, always presents excellent photographs of our events and ensures that Rotary and local press receive them in a timely fashion.      John D always ensures that we receive prompt payment for expenses claims.  Thank you to you both.

I recognise that we are all unpaid volunteers, with varying demands on our time.   Family and business must come first and Rotary must share your available spare time thereafter with other interests.    With regard to sharing the workload would you all please give some thought to how you can best help to run our Youth programme.
