Freshwater Bay 2019

Our walking holiday this year was based in Freshwater Bay, at the western end of the Isle of Wight.

Eleven couples enjoyed mixed weather, starting wet and becoming increasingly warm and sunny.

This year our party was part of a much larger group but as usual was split between the walkers and the strollers.The walkers were guided by three experienced leaders, who offered easy, medium or hard walks each day and the strollers went off in their own cars as they pleased.

This was one of the largest hotels offered by the group and their superb kitchen produced lovely food each day and an unforgettable 5 course dinnner on the last night. 

Everyone enjoyed a thoroughly good time and thanks were due to Bill Fairhall for yet again organising a great holiday with varied and interesting weather.
