  1. AIM: The  aim of the project was to assist affected people of Anpu village Ghanpokhara - 7 with restoration of their earthquake damaged drinking water pipes, taps and the source.
  1. The project now facilitates uninterrupted drinking water supply to 27 Households and  benefit 165 people in the locality. The water is also used to feed domestic cattle.
  1. The project in detail are as follows:

  1. Drinking water restoration project at  Anpu village Ghanpokhara  was formally handed over to the village drinking water restoration committee at a special event on 18 March 2019. Many beneficiaries from the locality, the mothers group, fathers group and members of youth clubs witnessed the formal handing over of restored drinking water project.
  1. Rotarian Major Bhim Bahadur GURUNG MVO MBE and members of the club did the honour by formally handing over the restored drinking water system back to local community.
  1. The local Nepal government representative, the chairman of the drinking water restoration committee and locals applauded for the Noble work from NANTWICH ROTARY. The beneficiaries asked the Rotarians to convey their thanks to members of NANTWICH ROTARY, which we are all happy to do.

 

  1. I on behalf of the beneficiaries and of The Himalayan Gurkhas thank NANTWICH Rotary for their kind generosity. With their financial help the locals of Anpu village Ghanpokhara have 24 hours running safe drinking water on their door steps.

 

  1. There has been some delay in completing the project and furnishing final project report. For which our apology.
