Snap That!  Beauty In Our Park

January 5 and many of us were just recovering from our Christmas and New Year celebrations.  But … no rest for the wicked as Immediate Past President Peter Greene represented the club at the Friends of Lake Meadows annual prize-giving when it announced the winners of its 2018 Photographic Competition.

It is an annual event inviting people to celebrate the beauty of our local park.  As in previous year’s we sponsored one of the prizes and were invited along together with Rotary Club of Billericay Mayflower, Billericay Lions and Billericay Round Table, who also sponsored the competition.

High Quality

Charles Novis  provided the introduction, welcoming everybody and thanking all the sponsors for their contribution, before asking sponsors to step up and help hand out the prizes to the worthy winners.
As usual, the quality of the entries was exceedingly high and there were three prizes to each of the junior and senior categories.
